Easter 2011. Life is constantly changing as we wait for Brent to get a heart transplant. The Lord has blessed me to get to stay home now and have more time with the kids and Brent. Through all our trials we are contiually blessed. The Lord has provided wounderful friends for support, near and far praying and encouraging us. All I can do is thank the Lord for everything. Doctors who are so wouderful, wise and close by. All that He is teaching us, and doing for us :)

Life has been busy

Life is always changing we have been real busy, I don't work anymore, I was needed more at home taking care of my family. Sickness is down with kids since I don't work and I seem to be healthier too. Brent's heart has gotten worst and we are now waiting for a heart transplant at this time. He got a mechanical heart on July 7Th, he was in the hospital for 38 days total and now recovering from the open heart surgery. It is nice to see him doing better again, and I can't wait to see him healthy some day :) I will post new pictures soon. We are having his party soon to celebrate his 40 years of life and at least 40 more is what I am praying for :) The kids are growing so fast, they aren't so little anymore and so full of life. Each has their own character and its so much fun to watch them. Well, its late but wanted to update the blog and I will work on those pictures :)

Been busy but have a moment

Well, I'm back to work and I knew once I went back it would get hectic. Grandpa Bruns went to the hospital with Pneumonia and Pleurisy, but is home as of Saturday doing better. I finally got Brent to go to the doctor and we found out that his heart's rhythm is in the wrong beat, its called A-fib for short and spelling purposes. So shortly here when all is ready the doctor will shock his heart to make it go back to the normal rhythm. This is common with his sort of heart condition, I knew something was wrong when after he lost allot of weight and feeling good then this last summer he wasn't feeling as good and was tired, not as able to do as much as he use to when he first lost the weight. So we are praying that this will work so he will start feeling better. We are having allot of fun with the kids and my hormones I think are starting to balance out after having Tippen. I am hoping because I am wanting to start feeling normal again and get rid of the up and downs. I am hoping to lose the weight I have gained to and it should help with my energy problem. I just don't feel like my normal self for now. I know the Lord is working in our lives and has an awesome plan taking place and everything will work out according to His will so I take great comfort in that. Well enough of that I'll show you some more pictures :)

Well, Tippen is a healthy boy. On Thursday he got circumcised and was just a few ounces away from 11 pounds. He's 5 weeks old as of Friday. We felt bad for him on Thursday but we agreed it was for his best. He's doing good, it is one thing that shows the big difference between boys and girls. The girls were alot easier in the beginning, less spit up and diaper changes were easier I feel. So, our house can be quite busy and alot of the time quite loud. Mommy is tired alot of the it sounds quite silly at times. Well I should go for now, I hope to have time next time to post pictures. ~Katy

Tippen Andrew Bruns:
was born Friday October 31st at 7:50 am,
weighed 7lbs 10oz and 20.5 inches long,
lots of dark brown hair.

He has quite the cry, his sisters love him, well Florence does. Sophia looks at him and sometimes you think she might clue in to him but Florence she's jumped right in holding him and trying to feed him, always trying to kiss him.

We have been Blesses for sure.

I'm healing up and moving around, hopefully I'll speed up in a couple of days and be able to help out more. Getting real sleepy Should go for now, next time there will be pictures. ~Love Katy

Its been real busy or I have been real tired so that's why no update in a while. Brent did download pictures on the computer so I just need to get busy. Its real hard when the girls are awake because they like to push the keys and in return mess the blog I'm doing up. Sophia just turned 1 year August 24th and we had a birthday party for her, she is doing so much in the new house and its only a matter of time before she is walking around, without holding on to stuff. Hopefully before the baby comes. The baby will be here Lord willing on October 31st, its a Friday and I know we can get more help on weekends. I thought it would be nice for Brent to name this baby since I was the who got stuck on the girls names, he did help with them. With this one being a boy (good chances) I feel its appropriate. We'll let the name be a surprise for some since we took all the other surprise out of it. Well the girls are getting ready to eat so I better go but hopefully tomorrow I can finish updating you all.

This picture was taken 6 weeks ago so there is green grass now. Its a 4 bedroom 2bathroom and a rearload garage. We did our own electrical so it has nicer features than normal and the friend who (really did the electircal) set the house up to feel like a home. After we move I'll have more pictures for you. We can now have visitors though :)

It only took 6 weeks to build and then the hard part was another 6 weeks to close (government loans take awhile) But today we can finally start the process of moving. Yah, the small amount of space and the hormones (they are reallll bad with this pregnancy, I turn real ugly real fast). So the 6 weeks waiting to close was not a pretty sight, thats why no blogs. But soon we will be in our own house, from around roughly 3-600 sqft feet a single car garage turned into room to 1800 sqft. I'll get a picture posted asap too. Hopefully in a few minutes.

Well, I am tired all the time, even before we took the pregnancy test Brent would say your probably pregnant because your so tired all the time and tremendously moody. We are bearing threw it and so far I haven't got sick, just nauseiated all the time, but I can live with that as long as the food stays down. Well its been quite a winter :) we've been looking around to get into our own place. And we have decided to buy new. We are having a house built :) and it will be big enough for us to grow in. We are still trying to let it sink in that we are growing yet again in size. The end of October, beginning of November we will have another baby. The water over here has been quite fertile you could say, the Birthing Center ha been real busy the last 3 years. Well the girls are fussy gotta go. Sophia is growing so fast 5 months now and atleast 18 pounds. She loves food and constant attention. Florence runs nonstop and only sleeps when you force her to. Some days I get lucky they both sleep at the same time. Sophia does not tolerate me working very well. Daddy has a bad day when mommy goes to work for twelve hours. We also got alot of snow the last couple of days when my hands free up and I don't have to type one handed I'll share some awsome pictures. more later ~Katy 1peter 2:21

My little sister Sophia Jean arrived Friday afternoon at 3:45 pm. I was at my Auntie's house playing with my cousins not having a clue on what was going on. I was a good girl for Auntie too, not waking up too much in the night and going back to sleep for her. Daddy, Mommy and Sophia got to come home early which made us all real happy. They came home saturday night, mommy really pushed for only one night stay in the hospital, everyone reluctanly agreed as long as she did rest. C-Section deliveries are suppose to stay atleast 3 night, that would have been real hard on mommy and daddy they really missed me and couldn't wait to be home all together as a family. I just love having Sophia around, I kiss her and hold her and hug her as much as I can. I can even say sissy. Its real hard when she cries though, I don't know what to do and after the intial shock I will sometimes rub her head or give her her pasfier. I'll even rub mommy's back to comfort her when sissy won't stop crying. Mommy will post pictures as soon as she can but there is the hospital web page with 4 pictures taken saturday before they left the hospital. It also gives all the facts. It is www.kmc.org go to nursery and look for 8/24/07 Sophia B.
She weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 19.5 inches long. Alot smaller than I was but she also got to come early and I was late. Post more later, Florence and Mommy.

We are going in on Friday afternoon to have a repeat C-Section. What are we going to do with 2 little ones, we are in so much trouble. Heres a most recent family picture.

Its been awhile since my last post, my mommy's tummy is growing right on schedule with the baby, which moves around all day. She sleeps alot it seems but she is very tired , the baby and I take alot of energy from mommy. I like to run and think it is funny even if no one runns after me. My daddy though is getting real thin. He has had a few surgeries this year and has lost about 90 or more pounds. He is feeling alot better and looking real good. My sister should be born August 28th. By repeat c-section. By the pictures you will see that I am a big girl so I wasn't able to come out normal. Big babies run in our family so this might be bigger than myself. Here are some pictures for you to look at.

Mommy is now 15 weeks pregnant. The due date is Sept. 3rd, but it is a repeat c-section and the date is planned for Aug. 28th. One long and hot summer ahead. Mommy will try and update with pictures of myself and new one on the way. I'm going to be 1 year old on Friday March 16th and we'll have alot more pictures to show you all. I have a few friends who have blogged as a good way to show everyone everywhere pictures of their families and I agree this is a good way for other family and friends far away to see updates of Florence. I will try to keep this updated so we can watch her grow together and others can see her personality from afar. When ever she sees the camera she gets serious, but loves to smile and talk to anyone who will let her and play with her. She loves life and we love to have her with us.
